About the role:

Do you want to work for a multidisciplinary, specialist Occupational Health provider? Coal Services Health are seeking an experienced leader, to join our Medical team, based across our Singleton and Speers Point offices. In this important position, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the day-to-day operations at customer sites and within the clinics, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Role responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of health professionals, to deliver services across the offices and on site
  • Provide leadership and coaching support to the medical team
  • Facilitate achievement of team efficiencies and productivity through workforce and logistical management
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture through employee management and facilitating ongoing professional development
  • Coordinate the delivery of professional services to internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver quality service outcomes, and the ongoing implementation of compliance and competency frameworks
  • Ensure policy and procedural requirements are met

To be successful you will have:

  • Be a Registered Nurse and possess professional registration (AHPRA)
  • Tertiary qualifications in management (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience and knowledge in similar leadership role
  • Previous experience in a health setting (preferably Occupational Health)
  • Knowledge of (or swift ability to gain) all relevant legislation, industry codes or best practices in relation to health settings and specific to the Coal industry
  • Current NSW drivers' licence and capacity to travel
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Intermediate level computer skills
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, frameworks, protocols and practices
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills
